We are proud to announce our charity partner for 2015 is the STV Appeal!
The STV Appeal work closely with Scotland’s leading experts in the field of child poverty to raise money for children and young people affected by poverty across Scotland.
Since the launch in 2011 the STV Appeal have managed to raise more than £8.2 million, allowing them to make 198 big and small grants to projects across all 32 local authorities in Scotland, providing support to over 29,000 children.
Statistics show that one if five children and young people in Scotland are living in poverty, affecting around 200,000 people.
Sir Tom Hunter of the Hunter Foundation and STV chief executive Rob Woodward are members of the STV Appeal Board, working alongside Baroness Margaret Ford, TV personality Lorraine Kelly, Ewan Hunter of the Hunter Foundation and STV CFO George Watt to help make a difference.
